Who does AR share your personal data with, and for what purpose?
AR will not sell your personal data to third parties and will only use it for the purposes described above. In the context of its business operations, AR may engage third parties. Where these third parties process your data in carrying out their activities, the required measures are taken to ensure that your data is only processed to the extent necessary for that purpose. AR will only disclose your data to third parties if legally obliged to do so, such as in the case of a court order, or if prior consent has been obtained.
Data sharing within AR subsidiaries
If you are a customer of AR, your personal data may be shared within AR’s subsidiaries. This may be done for administrative purposes or to create a complete overview of your business and the products and services you purchase from AR. This allows AR to serve you more effectively. The legal basis for this processing is AR’s legitimate interest, as these activities are part of AR’s normal business operations.
How long does AR retain your personal data?
AR does not retain personal data longer than necessary for the purposes described above. The retention period depends on the purpose for which the data is used. In determining the retention period, AR takes into account applicable statutory requirements, the reasonable expectation that the data may still be needed for its original purpose, and AR’s legitimate interests. Once personal data is no longer necessary, it will be anonymised or deleted.
How AR safeguards your personal data
AR has implemented appropriate security measures to prevent the unlawful use of your personal data. AR maintains an information security policy, which is regularly updated in line with new regulations and market developments. In addition, AR has taken measures regarding both physical and digital access security (policies and procedures, IT security, etc.). Moreover, AR employees are not permitted to disclose your personal data unlawfully or unnecessarily.
Requests for access, correction, deletion, objection, and data portability
