Would you like to get acquainted with Voermeesters By Nature and feed more naturally? This Voermeesters By Nature Breed Trial Package is specially designed for mares in the final months of pregnancy and for lactating mares.

Voermeesters Daily Breed supports the mare during this intensive period, when roughage alone may not always be sufficient. Around foaling and during the first months of lactation, the foal grows most rapidly, which requires additional support from the mare. Daily Breed provides extra energy, protein, minerals, and trace elements to optimally support both mare and foal. Depending on your situation, it can be combined with one or both toppings included in this package. Voermeesters Vitality+ can be used to supplement nutrient deficiencies from roughage, while Voermeesters Power+ adds extra energy to the ration.

Voermeesters Daily Breed is a molasses-free 10 mm pellet that stimulates chewing. The pellet is high in fiber (>15%) and relatively low in sugar and starch (around 20%) compared to conventionally produced broodmare pellets. Some of the added trace elements are organically bound, allowing for better absorption. This pellet can be fed as a complete concentrate alongside roughage, or used within the Mix & Match system with one or more toppings.

Voermeesters Vitality+ is a grain-free, molasses-free, and alfalfa-free muesli topping. It contains all vitamins, minerals, and trace elements to meet your horse’s daily needs alongside roughage. It combines well with one of our Daily products (Essentials). In addition, it contains live yeasts to support digestion and herbs with a soothing effect.

Voermeesters Power+ is a fat-rich muesli topping, free from molasses and alfalfa, designed to add extra energy to the ration. It contains 25% fat, mainly from linseed. The grains are processed for high starch digestibility. Voermeesters Power+ combines well with one of our Daily products (Essentials).

Pregnancy, months 8 and 9: 420 grams of Voermeesters Daily Breed per 100 kg of body weight
Pregnancy, months 10 and 11: 500 grams per 100 kg of body weight
Lactation, months 1–3: 650–750 grams per 100 kg of body weight
Lactation, months 4 and 5: if possible, gradually reduce to 500 grams per 100 kg of body weight

Voermeesters Vitality+
Feed at least 30–50 grams per 100 kg of body weight per day

Voermeesters Power+
Feed at least 50–165 grams per 100 kg of body weight per day

Oat hulls

Extruded barley

A versatile grain that provides energy through carbohydrates. Extrusion improves digestibility and nutritional value, making it a nutritious and palatable powerhouse.

Rice feed flour

Contains a form of starch that is digested more slowly than starch from grains, allowing your horse to benefit from this energy source for longer.

Alfalfa

This leguminous plant can bind its own protein and therefore contains more protein than hay or grass. It also provides more energy and has a lower sugar content.

Soybean meal

Rich in protein with a high-quality amino acid profile. Highly suitable for horses that require additional protein.
